It’s December peeps! Which often rimes with deadlines! Pun intended.
Wrapping up 🛍️ those lingering projects before the year's close is not just a matter of ticking boxes. It's a powerful psychological move. This way, you can dive into the holiday season feeling lighter and more present 🎁, without the nagging thoughts of unfinished tasks. It's about starting the new year fresh, without the old year's baggage 🧳.
So if you are feeling the pressure of tight deadlines and a million other things to do, I’m here to help.
Let’s create some space for calm.
Finding your state of calm will bring you focus and turn you into a problem-solving queen or king (not that you aren’t already).
So, you might be wondering how to achieve that elusive state of calm.
The good news is that it's entirely possible, and it's not about eradicating stress from your life (because let's face it, life always throws curveballs). It's about your response to stress, and your ability to stay centered in the storm.
Mindfulness and the Mind-Body Connection
One powerful tool in your arsenal is mindfulness (well, are you surprised?!). It's not about emptying your mind of thoughts – that's a near-impossible feat. Instead, it's about observing your thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations without judgment. This practice creates a gap between the stimulus (stress) and your response, giving you the space to choose a calm reaction.
The benefit of a calm mind is that it cuts through the chaos, making tasks more manageable and decisions more straightforward. This heightened clarity can be so precious against the daily whirlwind (to stay on track rather than become scattered).
As you know insight with no action is useless, so let’s put this into practice right now my friend.
Stop what you’re doing (I mean read this paragraph and then stop…)
Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. You don’t even have to change anything. Just notice the inhale and then exhale for a few breaths.
And then I want you to bring your focus on that little tiny pause, right before the inhale becomes the exhale and vice-versa. That’s the gap I mentioned above.
Feel it, make it longer if you want, notice the quiet and stillness of it. How even for just a nanosecond everything seems to disappear.
Embody this pause 🫶.
Do this for as long as you want. When you’re ready, gently open your eyes.
How do you feel now? (Seriously, I’d love for you to let me know).
Practice this often. It can be done for as little as 2 or 3 breaths, so you got time for it (#noexcuses). The more you flex that mindfulness muscle the stronger it gets. Yep, just like your biceps (oops, I did it again).
Ok now keep your eyes peeled 👀, cause next week I’m coming back into your inbox with a special gift to make your end of year even better ✨.
Stay tuned! And thanks for being here.

In this email: Special discount down below only for you to say thank you. Reader, The other night, I had one of those dreams. You know the kind—where you're stuck trying to solve something, over and over. I was teaching a yoga class, but I couldn’t remember the sequence. My mind was racing to improve it on the spot, but somehow the class kept rewinding and starting over. It felt endless. Exhausting. In the middle of this mental marathon, I had a moment of lucidity. My brain realized: Wait,...
Hi Reader, I hope this email finds you well. It’s been a few months since my last newsletter, and I’ve got to be honest with you—it wasn’t because I didn’t have things to share. The longer I waited, the more I felt a growing sense of shame and embarrassment for not reaching out sooner. And as that feeling grew, so did the hesitancy to send this very email. But then, I had a moment of clarity. I recognized this as a pattern—one I’d immediately address if it were happening to one of my clients....
A few weeks ago, I found myself at an audition for a yoga teaching position in a studio. Despite having taught thousands of hours of yoga and knowing my capabilities as a teacher, the jitters were still present: my heart was beating faster, butterflies danced in my tummy, and my palms turned clammy. Sound familiar? But instead of letting them overwhelm me, I leaned into them. Why? Because I’ve learned that stress in these situations can actually be helpful. It’s a boost, sharpening focus and...
